FSC Luxembourg launches new national forest stewardship standard

FSC Luxembourg launched its new national forest stewardship standard. The standard has been developed by a chamber-balanced Standard Development Group using a multi-stakeholder process, including two public consultations.

This new standard applies to all forest types and scales. FSC intends for the revised standard to contribute to increasing the FSC-certified forest area in Luxembourg (currently 25%).

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international member organization that works for environmentally adapted, socially responsible and economically viable use of the world's forests.
