Canadian manufacturing sales show slight decline in September

Statistics Canada has unveiled an advance estimate of manufacturing sector sales for September, showcasing a slight decline of 0.1%. This follows a positive trend in August, where sales rose by 0.7%, and a 1.6% increase in July. 

The estimate is based on a weighted response rate of 71.6%, contrasting with the average final response rate of 94.6% observed over the past 12 months.
