Canadian lumber production decreased 3.2% from September to 4 204.5 thousand cubic metres in October. Production was down 9.7% from October 2021, according to Statistics Canada.
Sawmills shipped 4 202.6 thousand cubic metres of lumber in October, down 2.3% from September and down 6.2% from October 2021.
