Canadian lumber production increased 1.9% from August 2022 to 4 341.8 thousand m3 in September. Production was down 6.1% from September 2021, according to Statistics Canada.
Sawmills shipped 4 302.8 thousand m3 of lumber in September, down 3.7% from August 2022 and down 8.5% from September 2021.
