The Alexander Lumber Board of Directors has announced an extension of Bill Cummings’ tenure as CEO of the company. Originally named interim CEO when Russ Kathrein stepped down from the position in July 2020, Bill Cummings will maintain that role through 2021.
Bill Cummings has led a strategic assessment of the company over the past six months.
“Digital technology is beginning to transform the manufacturing and delivery of the finished house to the home buyer,” Cummings said. “We have the team and resources to hone these capabilities. We have a plan in place for how we’ll go to market in 2021 and prioritize our investment in strategic technologies. We still have a lot to do to capitalize on the momentum we have built and the new opportunities we are focused on. Next year should be an exciting challenge for both me and the company.”
