Slovenia: Value of purchased roundwood increased by 83% in February

Apr 15, 2016. /Lesprom Network/. Slovenia's value of roundwood purchased from private owners in February 2016 was Euro 3.7 million, which is about 5% less than in the previous month (mainly due to lower quantity of purchased roundwood), as Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs and of other industrial roundwood was lower by about 6% and 9%, respectively. The value of purchased wood fuel was higher by 7%, while the value of purchased pulpwood was the same as in the previous month.
The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in February 2016 was almost 83% higher than in February 2015, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by almost 112%, of pulpwood by 19%, of other industrial roundwood by 24% and of wood fuel by about 32%.
